This hotel was originally built in 1800 as a palace but was never used as that. It is now being renovated to its original state. The location of the hotel is unique, being in the town centre and only minutes away from the thermal bath complex. There are parking spaces for cars and coaches across the road from the hotel. Behind the hotel there is a large botanical garden which will be made accessible to guests. On the opposite side of the street there is a historic castle which is open to the public.
The accommodation comprises; 15 x twin / double, 10 x 3 bed rooms, 1 x 4 bed apartment, giving total capacity of 64 guests. It also has 2 conference rooms, 1 small, and a larger one with an integral bar and a small kitchen. There is also a large restaurant and kitchen, an authentic wine cellar and a romantic bar. There are also technical areas, elevators and storage rooms.
